Executive Education and Consulting
Creating a mature supply chain approach is
critical today, when companies are competing in a volatile
economic environment and are finding it increasingly difficult
to forecast the future performance of their business or
marketplace. A mature supply chain operation dynamically
integrates demand and supply management, targets customers to
boost revenue, and helps to maximize profit and shareholder
value. The key enablers of a mature supply chain are lean and
flexible operations, end-to-end visibility of supply and demand,
collaboration, event-based management and integrated technology.
Mature supply chains also enable a company to link order
management with planning and forecasting and develop separate
operations for customer segmentation. By creating mature supply
chain operations, companies are better positioned to tackle
changes in the supply chain environment.
The Supply Chain Redesign Process
A diverse menu of product offerings is
available to SCRD customers based on needs assessment with
company directors. These services are not ¡°off the shelf¡±, but
are provided based on extensive discussions with the primary
participants in the organization.
These products are designed to help clients to effectively
redesign their supply chains for competitive advantage. We have
developed a proprietary process for creating and deploying a
redesigned supply chain that is shown below. The SCRD team will
not only work with your leadership team to develop a strategic
positioning statement for creating a supply chain design, but
also enable deployment of the strategy through on-going
consulting, education, and toolsets for improvement. We call
this process the ¡°Supply Chain Redesign¡± process, and its
associated elements.
Initiating this process occurs through
the following stages:
- Assess the Supply Chain Maturity by
using the Supply Chain Maturity Model and Finalize Strategies
to Create Tangible and Intangible Benefits
- Conduct Cost / Benefit Analysis
- Develop Accelerated Strategies to
Generate Benefits
- Cascade Supply Chain Organization &
Initiate the Transformation Process Through Education
- Supply and Demand Market Intelligence
